| Aikibojitsu Wilderness Training - Tentative Schedule for July 8 - 11, 2010 Wilderness Training is special backpacking-oriented training that takes place in a wilderness setting. Participants backpack in, bringing their own food, tents, everything needed to survive in the wilderness. Wilderness Training usually takes place in the summer, although we have had Winter training seminars on the coast. Recent Wilderness Training trips have taken place at Grizzley Lake in Northern California, Caribou Lakes in Northern California, and Canyon Creek Lakes in Northern California. Typical cost $275.00 for the weekend. The projected date for Aikibojitsu Wilderness Training in 2010 is July 8 - 11. Contact the Aikibojitsu Organzation as soon as possible if you wish to attend, as space is very limited. |
| Volcano Shugyo Volcano Shugyo is special training that takes place in the vicinity of a volcano. It is usually (but not always) a car-camping trip, as opposed to the Wilderness Training which generally involves backpacking. If conditions permit, participants often climb to the summit. In the past few years, we've gone to Mt. Lassen, California, Mt. Shasta, Calilfornia, Diamond Lake, Oregon, and Mt. Fuji, Japan. Typical cost $235.00 for the weekend. Projected date in 2010 has not yet been chosen. |
