The book Aikido, Aikibojitsu and the Structure of Natural Law is intended to serve as a main reference for
the staff art form of Aikibojitsu. Because of the comprehensiveness and depth of the material presented, it
also serves as a foundational document that explains what is involved in an effective implementation of a
martial art system based in pure non-resistance.
The book begins with definition of several primary principles and then proceeds into a detailed description of
the behavior of energy in non-resistant systems in general. It then brings theory to life through analysis of
several common Aikido techniques, as well as through definition of Aikibojitsu as a martial system. Overall,
the book provides an insightful, in-depth look into the main factors involved in the relationship between nage
(the defender) and uke (the attacker) in the martial interaction.
Practitioners of every martial discipline will find much to consider in this book. The principles and
descriptions given are foundational, meaning they apply to all martial systems regardless of style or
affiliation. It is a book that offers a rare, comprehensive look at the martial interaction on multiple levels.
The book is currently in the process of being published, and will be available for purchase on this web site in
early 2010. Updated instructional videos and other Aikido and Aikibojitsu materials are (or soon will be)
available at this website's Store.
